Staff Console — Quick Guide

Purpose

Serve members and mark them done. Your view is scoped to your assigned section — you see all categories served by your section combined.

Flow

1. Tap Serve Next or press Enter to pull the next member (priority-first, FCFS).
2. Serve the member at your counter.
3. Press D or tap Mark Done to complete. Handle time is recorded automatically.

Search

Type a BQMS number, Res number, or name in the search box to find a specific member quickly. Press Enter to finish searching (matches are scrolled into view). Tap the Serve button on the matched card to serve. Press Esc to clear the search.

Counter Referral

While serving a member, press R or tap ↪ Refer to hand them off to another counter or section. Get a ticket from the physical BQMS for the target referral category, type the BQMS number into the mini-dispatcher window, and confirm. A new entry appears in the target section's queue. The original entry stays SERVING at your counter — tap Done separately when finished explaining.

Stale Serves

If the serving timer exceeds 1 hour, a yellow "stale" badge appears — usually this means an earlier serve was never marked Done. Tap Done to clear it. Stale entries are not counted in your handle-time average.

Section Scope

You only see queues for categories served by your section. MSS staff see Customer Care + Fast Lane + eCenter combined. The section chip at the top right shows which section you're serving.

System Status (Online / Intermittent / Offline)

The three coloured dots at the top of the screen control how the member app and TV display appear to the public. 🟢 Online — reservations open, normal operation. 🟡 Intermittent — yellow warning banner on member app, reservations still allowed but members are warned of delays. 🔴 Offline — red banner, new reservations blocked. Use Offline only when the branch genuinely cannot accept new reservations (system outage, closure). Changes are visible to every logged-in staff in seconds.

Pause the serving session. The slot stays occupied and only you can resume it later. Pick a reason below.
Refer to Another Counter
Pick the category matching the ticket from the physical BQMS.
